GIVING STRONGER VOICE TO THE WOMEN FROM THE BORDERS OF ARMENIA
The project intends at strengthening the implementation of global obligations under UNSC Resolution 1325 Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) through development of Local Plan of Action on WPS for the Gegharkunik province. The project is supported by The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI).
CITIZEN ENGAGEMENT IN CONFLICT IMPACTED COMMUNITIES
This project empowers youth in conflict-affected regions to play an active role in peace-building. It also aims to connect Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) communities with adjoining areas of Armenia, thanks to support from The National Endowment for Democracy (USA).
TRAFFICKING YOUTH LABORATORY
This initiative remains dedicated to enhancing the expertise of young professionals in combating human trafficking. It includes collaboration with governmental bodies and the development of an alternative National Plan of Action on human trafficking, with a focus on addressing vulnerabilities among children and youth, supported by the Women's Fund Armenia.
NO PEACE AND SECURITY WITHOUT WOMEN
This project's main objective is to reshape perspectives on women's roles in peace and democracy processes. It does so by promoting knowledge of Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) principles, highlighting their importance, and providing tools and strategies to bolster the WPS agenda in Armenia, with support from the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (UK).
